World Development Foundation made the project for use of Community Radio Stations for livelihood generation in various part of India in the partnership of Media Lab Asia . Under the project, the first radio was established at Ranchi. [7] [8] In all, first five Urban Radical Stations in Agricultural Universities were established at Ranchi, Coimbatore, [9] Hissar, [10] [11] Faizabad, and Raipur in India under this project. In addition to informing and educating farmers regarding agriculture and best practices in technology, seed, soil, weather, climate, urban radio is also used to bring to focus important social issues on health, education, laws, etc. WDF has implemented 25 such projects. [12] The initiative taken by World Development Foundation and Media Lab Asia resulted in Urban Development being taken up as an approved extension scheme for funding by Ministry of Agriculture (India) . WDF is trying to take the expertise to help countries in Africa in using Urban Radio for development. [13] WDF has just commissioned seven 700 Watt Urban Radiant units Stations in remote areas of Ethiopia for development and education of people in Ethiopia,

WDF implemented a project Agriculture Knowledge Dissemination System for empowering the farmers in Bihar under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana of Government of India. The Agricultural Knowledge Dissemination System (ANDS) Project in Bihar included: (1) consultancy and system implementation for setting up an Electronic Media & Production Center (EMPC) consisting of audio and video studios, PCR room, recording/publishing room, digital archives (2 ) dissemination system consisting of web-casting of a user Web portal for agriculture-related services, SMS facilities for farmers and high-speed internet connectivity between BAU and five KVKs (Videoconferencing) and ordinary Services Centers (CSCs) using available Internet with these CSCs and (3 ) developing 300 h. of information on a recommended package of practices for the mandate crops in the form of video/audio/multimedia. [15] An MOU was signed between WDF & BAU,. [16] [17] Workshop attended by, farmers, NGOs, Self Help Groups, experts, scientists etc. were held on July 22, 2011 for a Brain Storming Session to decide the content for Agriculture Knowledge System. That project was conceived to start the second Green revolution in Bihar (see the video). WDF developed, designed and implemented the project, for dissemination of agricultural knowledge to farmers under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (State Plan Scheme of Additional Central Assistance). The details of the scheme implemented by WDF are given by Bihar Agricultural University , Government of Bihar (Government of Bihar) [18] The scheme is being used and now extended at other places for empowering farmers of the State. World Development Foundation made the project for use of Community Radio Stations for livelihood generation in various part of India in the partnership of Media Lab Asia . Under the project, the first radio was established at Ranchi. [7] [8] In all, first five Urban Radical Stations in Agricultural Universities were established at Ranchi, Coimbatore, [9] Hissar, [10] [11] Faizabad, and Raipur in India under this project. In addition to informing and educating farmers regarding agriculture and best practices in technology, seed, soil, weather, climate, urban radio is also used to bring to focus important social issues on health, education, laws, etc. WDF has implemented 25 such projects. [12] The initiative taken by World Development Foundation and Media Lab Asia resulted in Urban Development being taken up as an approved extension scheme for funding by Ministry of Agriculture (India) . WDF is trying to take the expertise to help countries in Africa in using Urban Radio for development. [13] WDF has just commissioned seven 700 Watt Urban Radiant units Stations in remote areas of Ethiopia for development and education of people in Ethiopia,

WDF implemented a project Agriculture Knowledge Dissemination System for empowering the farmers in Bihar under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana of Government of India. The Agricultural Knowledge Dissemination System (ANDS) Project in Bihar included: (1) consultancy and system implementation for setting up an Electronic Media & Production Center (EMPC) consisting of audio and video studios, PCR room, recording/publishing room, digital archives (2 ) dissemination system consisting of web-casting of a user Web portal for agriculture-related services, SMS facilities for farmers and high-speed internet connectivity between BAU and five KVKs (Videoconferencing) and ordinary Services Centers (CSCs) using available Internet with these CSCs and (3 ) developing 300 h. of information on a recommended package of practices for the mandate crops in the form of video/audio/multimedia. [15] An MOU was signed between WDF & BAU,. [16] [17] Workshop attended by, farmers, NGOs, Self Help Groups, experts, scientists etc. were held on July 22, 2011 for a Brain Storming Session to decide the content for Agriculture Knowledge System. That project was conceived to start the second Green revolution in Bihar (see the video). WDF developed, designed and implemented the project, for dissemination of agricultural knowledge to farmers under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (State Plan Scheme of Additional Central Assistance). The details of the scheme implemented by WDF are given by Bihar Agricultural University , Government of Bihar (Government of Bihar) [18] The scheme is being used and now extended at other places for empowering farmers of the State. This is the first scheme of its kind in the country.

Currently, he is working through WDF to enrich and empower the lives of poor and marginalized people in the world by using the technology of mass media and ICT for training and education of the people in the areas of health, agriculture, education, and entertainment. His areas of interest are Information Systems, Digital storage, Multimedia Broadcasting, and Broadcast applications for the enrichment of life of the poor and marginalized. He is keenly associated with the expansion of Community Radio Station (CRS) and other means of new media for education and social causes.

His areas of interest are Information System, Digital storage, Multimedia Broadcasting and Broadcast application for enrichment of life of poor and marginalized. He is keenly associated with expansion of Community Radio Station (CRS) and other means of new media for education and social cause.

Sir Srivastava is consultant to Gerson Lehrman Group [https://glginsights.com/], a New-York based consulting firm which is a platform for professional learning, and connects business people to experts to provide solutions. He is former Additional Director General of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He worked as [https://thecommonwealth.org/ Commonwealth Expert] in 1990 and [https://www.itu.int/en/Pages/default.aspx International Telecommunication Union (ITU)] Expert in 1991. Currently he is working through WDF to enrich and empower the life of poor and marginalized people in the world by using the technology of mass media and ICT for training and education of the people in the areas of health, agriculture, education, entertainment. His areas of interest are Information System, Digital storage, Multimedia Broadcasting and Broadcast application for enrichment of life of poor and marginalized. He is keenly associated with expansion of Community Radio Station (CRS) and other means of new media for education and social cause.
